The ingredients needed to prepare Pumpkin Masala:
  1. Get 1/2 cup diced Pumpkins
  2. Get 1 chopped onion
  3. Take 1 Diced Tomato
  4. Prepare 2 tsp vegetable oil
  5. You need 3 clove Crushed garlic
  6. You need 1 slice crushed ginger
  7. You need green chillies
  8. You need salt
  9. Use 1/2 bunch cilantro
  10. You need 1/2 tsp chili powder
  11. You need 3/4 tsp ground coriander seeds
  12. You need 1 dash ground cinnamon, cardamom, cloves (optional)
Instructions to make Pumpkin Masala:
  1. Heat oil In a sauce pan and sauté chopped onion and green chillies.
  2. Once onion become soft add crushed ginger, garlic and sauté for a minute, then add chopped tomatoes and diced pumpkin pieces. Sauté for couple of minutes.
  3. Add all spice powders, salt and one or two cups of water and cover the vessel with a lid until the Pumpkins are soft and smashable
