The ingredients needed to cook Yummy Apple Halwa:
  1. Get 1 large Apple
  2. Take 60 gm sugar
  3. Provide 1 tablespoon ghee
  4. Provide 1 pinch salt
  5. Use 1/2 Juice of a lemon
  6. Take 1 cup Water lukewarm
  7. Get 1/2 teaspoon green cardamom powder
  8. Get 4-5 whole/Broken cashews

  1. Wash, core and dice the Apple into smaller pieces
  2. Add lemon juice to the warm water and soak the apples for 15 minutes to soften
  3. Blend into a smooth purée post soaking time
  4. Melt a teaspoon of ghee in a heavy bottom saucepan and brown the cashews. Keep them aside
  5. Further add the remaining ghee in the pan and transfer the Apple purée in the pan
  6. Keep stirring every 2 minutes as the mixture thickens
  7. Add the sugar, cardamom powder and salt. Mix well and continue cooking on Low heat
