The ingredients needed to prepare Fish Pasta Bake:
- Take 350 g fish pie mix (approx)
- Get 1 small cauliflower head, cut into bitesizes
- Use to taste Salt
- Prepare to taste Ground black pepper
- You need 250 g penne pasta or similar
- Provide 400 ml milk
- Provide 2 dried bay leaves
- Take 40 g butter
- Get 15 g all purpose flour
- Use 1 tsp dried dill
- Use 1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley

- Provide 100 g philadelphia or other soft cream cheese

- Heat the milk in a saucepan until it's just about starting to boiling. Add the fish pieces and the Bay leaves and poach for around 2-3 minutes until the fish is just cooked. - Add the cream cheese. Cook for another minute until its fully melted in, still stirring, then remove from the heat.
- Next cook the pasta according to the directions on the packet. Once cooked drain well.
- Add the fish and the pasta to the sauce and stir gently to combine. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
- Pour the fish pasta into a baking dish and sprinkle the grated cheese over the dish. Preheat the grill to high.
- Cook the pasta under the grill for about 5 minutes or so until the cheese is melted, bubbling and browning in patches.
- Sprinkle with a little more fresh parsley, and serve. Enjoy!
